I am an adventure journalist, environmental reporter, and guidebook co-author.
Which is to say I’m a lifelong adventurer plugged into the stories and struggles of a variety of outdoor communities. My work has been published by Smithsonian, Outside, Backpacker, Climbing, Alpinist,Trail Runner, SELF, Shape, The Denver Post, and others.
I am a currently a columnist at Outside, a contributing editor at Summit Journal, and the co-author of three guidebooks: Colorado Rockies, Telluride, and the forthcoming travel guide America Obscura.
